Our mission is simple. Make it effortless for every Black community in every city to find, support, and grow Black owned business — with dignity, verified ownership, and a design language that honors our history.

The name is a tribute to Victor Hugo Green, whose 1936 Negro Motorist Green Book built the first complete infrastructure of Black commerce in the United States. Black Plate carries that mission forward on a modern platform.
